How KidZania boss creates 'the place to be' for employees

MANILA - The new governor of KidZania Manila, Maria Rosario "Cookie" Bartolome, says an ideal boss is someone who looks after the professional and personal well-being of employees.

"Making this the place to be is my goal in life. That's the boss," Bartolome told ANC.


"What attracts them to work at KidZania? It's because of the compassion I show my people. It's because I know that making sure that I look after each one of them, their growth both personally as in their career," she said.

The country's premiere play city hopes to attract 400,000 visitors this year, its second year of operations, as families seeking a quick and easy getaway in the metropolis drive traffic.
